Location

Albertville is conveniently located along 694.  It is known as “Albertville - the Friendly City.”

Schools

Schools K-12 are part of the St. Michael – Albertville school district.  The two cities share the high school and middle school currently.  However, there is a new High School in the process of being built, projected to open Fall ’09.

Attractions

Cedar Creek Golf Course is located one mile from our Prairie Run Development.  It features a clubhouse and bar & grill.  Or Stone Bridge, Vintage, and Pinewood Golf Courses, Pheasant Acres Golf Club and French Lake Open Golf are all located just 10 miles away.  Up for a game of bowling instead?  River Lanes, Mc Pete’s and Elk River Bowl are located just 10 miles away.

You can catch the most recent Hollywood blockbuster at the IMAX Megastar Movie Theatre in St. Michael located just 5 minutes from our Prairie Run Development.  This spectacular 72,000 square foot, 3 story Cineplex boutique theme theatre offers films available in 2D and 3D.   The theatre is a replica of Moulin Rouge.  There are separate 2nd and 3rd level adult promenade areas, two party rooms, and a large game room for youngsters. The dramatic 2nd level area bar and lounge area is a first in the Twin Cities market and features seating for 80 in an  intimate French parlor theme overlooking the lobby.  The theatre’s high-energy environment dazzles everyone before and after the show. Recreation

There are multiple parks, trails and places to enjoy outdoor recreation such as tennis, soccer, baseball, basketball, .  Crow Hassan Park Reserve is located right along the river with over 10 miles of horse trails, 11 miles of snowmobile trails, plenty of opportunity for mountain biking, hiking, fishing, picnicking, and much more.  Yet with all there is to do, this beautiful 2,600 acre park is an outstanding area for providing a feeling of wilderness, particularly with its 600-acre restored prairie.
